Guest Relations Assistant - Guest Communication (UNPAID)
As the main point of contact and face of NYAFF for guests, you will assist in preparing for their stay and providing support throughout their visit. Your primary focus will be on seamless communication and providing a warm reception to ensure guest satisfaction during their time at NYAFF.
This position requires full-time on-site availability during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
Ground Transportation Coordinator (UNPAID)
You will be responsible for arranging ground transportation for guests and coordinating with the hospitality team to create schedules and ensure seamless transport.

Guest Relations Assistant - Guest Itinerary (UNPAID)
Create tailored itineraries for guests, collaborating closely with the operations and programming teams to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information.

Guest Relations Assistant - Accommodation & Transportation Coordination (UNPAID)
Manage flight and accommodation arrangements for guest, and their requests during their stay. Coordinate with the ground transportation coordinator to schedule airport pickups.

Volunteer Coordinator (UNPAID)
The Volunteer Coordinator's responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization's purpose to the public.
This hybrid position runs from May 15 - July 31, with full-time on-site availability required during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
Event Coordinator (UNPAID)
The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Programming Committee and the Production Manager to organize the red carpet, industry parties, Asian American Forum, and Masterclass lectures.
This hybrid position runs from May 15 - July 31, with full-time on-site availability required during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
Production Assistant (UNPAID)
The Production Assistant will work closely with the Production Manager to provide production support across all NYAFF Operations teams, including pre-festival preparation, all venue load in and load outs, event set up and breakdown, and other tasks as needed.
This position requires full-time on-site availability during the festival dates, July 11-31, 2025. The ideal start date for this position is June 15.
Member Relations Specialist (UNPAID)
The Member Relations Specialist will assist the General Manager with stewardship efforts, appreciation initiatives, and regular communication to maximize sponsor satisfaction and retention.
This is a hybrid, part-time position from May 15 - July 31, requiring a minimal commitment of one on-site day and two remote days per week. Full-time on-site availability is preferred during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
Graphic Design Intern (UNPAID)
You will work directly with our Lead Designer and digital marketing team to strategize, craft, and design content for various marketing platforms, such as social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and print media.
The position is part-time and remote from May 15 - July 31. However, we encourage you to come to work with the team in person periodically.
Asset Manager (UNPAID)
We are seeking an Asset Manager, ideally a designer with knowledge of Asian films. The primary function and key responsibility of this role involve Assets Management, with the additional capacity to support as a backup designer when the team is under heavy workload.
The position is part-time and remote from May 15 - July 31. However, we encourage you to come to work with the team in person periodically.
Digital Marketing Intern (UNPAID)
This role offers hands-on experience in crafting and executing digital marketing strategies for one of New York's premier cultural events. The intern will play a crucial role in managing social media, crafting newsletters, and engaging with the community.
The internship runs from May 15 - July 31, with full-time on-site availability required during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
Video Editor (UNPAID)
This role focuses on editing and producing video content for our social media platforms, aligning with the promotional activities for NYAFF's 23rd edition.

Volunteer Photographers and Videographers (UNPAID)
As a volunteer for NYAFF, you will be given the opportunity to shoot a selection of festival events such as red carpets, step-and-repeats, film introductions, q&a's, award ceremonies, and special programming such as the night market.
These positions run from July 11-27, 2025, with a minimum commitment of 3 days during the festival period.
Festival Volunteers (UNPAID)
Volunteers will have the opportunity to attend screenings in exchange for their essential part in making the festival happen.
These positions require availability during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025, with a minimum commitment to work three full shifts (approximately 15 hours in total).
Guest Relations Volunteer (UNPAID)
As a Guest Relations volunteer, you are the main point of contact and face of NYAFF for a number of assigned invited guests, providing assistance and help throughout their stay. You are responsible for giving a warm reception to the guests and making sure that they are satisfied with their visit at the NYAFF. Guest Relation volunteers are responsible for maintaining open lines of communication between staff, guests, and NYAFF Management.
These positions require full-time on-site availability during the festival dates, July 11-27, 2025.
VIP Guest Relations Manager (UNPAID)
NYAFF is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented VIP Guest Relations Manager to lead all hospitality efforts for all the domestic and international guests at the festival. Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Programming and Operations teams, you will recruit and manage the Guest Relations team; coordinate with travel agents for flight and accommodation booking; create and manage guest itineraries; ensure a seamless experience for all guests; and provide on-site support during the festival. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, experience handling high-profile talent, filmmakers, and international guests and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
The ideal start date is April 15, 2025 or earlier. A minimum of 10 hours per week from April to May and full-time availability from June to July is required. On-site presence is required during the festival dates (July 11-27).

NYAFF is seeking a creative and visual media-savvy Digital Marketing Manager to lead online campaigns and increase audience engagement with all NYAFF programs and events. Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Programming, Public Relation, and Operations teams, you will recruit and manage the Digital Marketing team; develop and execute marketing strategies; manage and grow our presence across all digital platforms; and analyze key performance metrics to optimize outreach.
The ideal start date is April 15, 2025. A minimum of 10 hours per week from April to May and full-time availability from June to July is required. On-site presence is preferred during the festival dates (July 11-27).

Digital Marketing Specialist – Xiaohongshu Focus (UNPAID)
The New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF)/New York Asian Film Foundation is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our presence on Xiaohongshu. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead digital marketing efforts for one of New York’s premier cultural events, helping shape the festival’s identity and engagement with audiences leading up to the 24th edition of NYAFF in July 2025.
This is a unpaid internship running from April 14 - July 31, with full-time on-site availability required during the festival dates, July 11-27.
