Deceptively kicking off as a deadpan corporate drama about the frustrations of legal trainee Tae-soo (rising star Ahn Jae-hong), a bottom feeder at his law film, Secret Zoo is actually a laugh-out-loud comedy that treats matters like friendship and resilience very seriously. When an opportunity for advancement pops up, Tae-soo thinks it’s finally his chance to turn his career around. All he has to do is keep a near bankrupt zoo in business until someone bails it out. But to his horror, he finds out the animals have already been sold off!

It’s going to take the best-laid plan to save the day.

Cue: four employees of Dongsan Park, a disgraced zoo manager, a veterinarian and two zookeepers. Reluctant at first, they take on the challenge and somehow agree to go inside cages to perform a fraudulent scheme.. Soon when a visitor’s video for a cola-drinking polar bear goes viral, the zoo suddenly finds itself the center of attraction.
