Alienoid

외계+인 1부

Rogue aliens have been trapped as prisoners inside human brains for years and when they try to break free, a lone keeper of intergalactic peace known as “the guard” (Kim Woo-bin) opens a rift in time to prevent them from escaping. Meanwhile, back in the 14th century at the end of the Goryeo Dynasty, a couple of crafty Taoist fighters (Kim Tae-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol, NYAFF 2019 Screen International Rising Star Asia awardee) vie with each other to steal a magic sword when a hole opens up in the sky and transports them to 2022. Before you can say high concept, ancient warriors, modern vigilantes, and frightening extraterrestrials wreak madcap action-packed havoc in their attempts to restore order to the world. This mammoth sci-fi fantasy opus from Choi Dong-hoon, one of Korea’s most successful directors, may just mark a new zenith in outré genre cinema.
