A mute young man seeks a new life in the wilderness – with survival a daily struggle. Envisioning himself as a feline, he finds refuge in a blind elderly cat lover's home where he experiences newfound tenderness while momentarily forgetting his human identity.

Leung Kam Fai studied economics, but filmmaking is his true calling. He first apprenticed under acclaimed director Cheung Chi Leung Jacob and later under Fruit Chan. His debut short film, The Captive and the Fugitive, tells the story of a couple who create a film that defies conventions. His latest work, Save My Soul, which portrays the transformation of a mute person due to loneliness, won the Jury Award at the Eye Catcher International Pitching Forum 2023 and has been selected for international film festivals. In 2024, he produced and co-wrote _Ping Pong Heartbeats _for his long-time collaborator Lau Chi-fan Gigi.
Lau Chi Fan Gigi graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a degree in Creative Media and gained acclaim by winning the Best Fictional Film Award for The Smokies. Beyond her role as a commercials director, she passionately produces multiple short films. In 2024, she made a directorial comeback with Ping Pong Heartbeats, exploring the inner conflict of a female photographer torn between the innocence of a model and the mature soul of a choreographer. Currently, she is enrolled in the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Masterclass in Film Directing and actively developing her new project, Unconditional Love.
