Nineteen-year-old Myung-hoon once dreamed of playing piano. Now he's in a North Korean labor camp, paying for his father's failed spy mission. His only way out, and his sister's only chance at survival, is to become what destroyed his family: a spy. Posing as a high school defector in Seoul, he must hunt an assassin called Big Dipper while dodging South Korean intelligence. But when he protects a bullied classmate named Hye-in, the same name as the sister he abandoned, his carefully constructed cover begins to crack. As Kim Jong-il's regime fractures and rival factions devour their own, Myung-hoon discovers that in this deadly game of espionage, loyalty itself may be the ultimate betrayal.
