Hidden Face
In this steamy psychological thriller from director Kim Dae-woo (Forbidden Quest, Obsessed), conductor Seong-jin (Song Seung-heon) spirals into darkness when his fiancée, cellist Soo-yeon (Cho Yeo-jeong), vanishes, leaving only a cryptic video message. He finds dangerous solace with Mi-joo (Park Ji-hyun), Soo-yeon's sultry replacement in the orchestra. Their explosive affair ignites in long, feverish scenes of raw intimacy—unaware they're being watched from within their own walls. Kim Dae-woo's remake of The Hidden Face amplifies the original's eroticism, luxuriating in forbidden desire and sexual obsession. With atmospheric cinematography by Kim Dong-young, the film became South Korea's first R-rated blockbuster since 2019 to surpass one million admissions.
