I, the Song
Set amid the visually stunning Himalayas, this meditative tale follows schoolteacher Nima, whose life spirals after she's mistaken for her lookalike in a viral sex video. Journeying south to clear her name, she discovers a deeper mystery surrounding a stolen sacred song. Accompanied by the dreamy rhythms of traditional Dzongkha music, the lines between her and her double blur, elevating the story from personal drama to political commentary. Atmospheric visuals highlight landscapes of great potency, but beneath the poetic imagery lies a powerful feminist critique confronting patriarchal norms and celebrating female solidarity.
