Heejeong, a second grade student in Samil Girl's High School, bought a pink backpack. Starting with Heejeong, Hani, Jiwoo, and Yeji also brought blue, yellow, and green backpacks, and they called themselves the ""The Rainbow Backpack Club"". However, the school suddenly announces a rule that only dark-colored backpacks are allowed. So, the Rainbow Backpack Club came up with various tricks to protect their backpacks. But every time, they are caught by the teacher(Nam Eung-su) in front of the school gate and get punished. To make matters worse, the school announced the black school bag as a uniform and that only this bag will be allowed from now on. Hani, feeling unfair, confronts Nam and gets slapped while others are watching. The next day, Rainbow Backpack Club is waiting for Hani in front of the school gate. Hani arrived, carrying a black plastic bag instead of a blue backpack. Hani stopped when she sees her friends with thier backpacks. And took out her blue bag that she had hidden far away from the school gate. As the Rainbow Backpack Club gathers, Heejeong comes up with one last trick. They come to school in a lump, with their arms around each others shoulders. They tied all the bags together as if they were doing a five legged race. The Rainbow Backpack Club runs to the school field to avoid the Nam, and as their feet work in perfect harmony, their speed gets up. Nam tried to catch up with the kids who are getting faster and faster, and the students watching them cheer and encourage. A classroom full of black uniform backpacks. Among them, two black plastic bags stand out. Jiwoo tells Yeji a gossip that the principal has been taking advantages by running a backpack business at the school. Afterwards, the inauguration ceremony for the new principal is held as a morning ordinance, and Hee-jeong looks back at Hani and smiles.
