Journey There

흐르는 여정

Chun-hee wants to make her exit, but life keeps bothering her. After her husband’s sudden death, she leaves the home they shared for years, moves into an old apartment, and prepares for the assisted death they planned together. Then comes the grand piano: too large for the new place, beyond her ability to play, and still carrying the weight of the man who left it behind. This predicament brings her to Min-jun, a conductor from Germany and Korean adoptee searching for the mother he never knew. Played by Justin H. Min of The Umbrella Academy and After Yang, Min-jun finds frequent reasons to meet, and soon draws Chun-hee toward an orphaned boy with a gift for music. Little by little, life and the living come back within reach. Winner of BIFF’s KBS Independent Film Award.
