My Sassy Girl 4K Restoration

엽기적인 그녀

She drinks too much, swings hard, raises hell, humiliates him in public, and somehow becomes the person he cannot leave behind. That is “the Girl,” played by Jun Ji-hyun (Gianna Jun) in the star-making role that made her an icon across Asia, and that is the engine of My Sassy Girl. Kwak Jae-yong built his monster hit from blog posts, and the film went on to help set the modern shape of Korean romantic comedy and inspire remakes across several territories. Cha Tae-hyun is Gyeon-woo, the soft-hearted student whose ordinary life she demolishes, and their courtship runs from subway mayhem and absurd romantic tests to sudden, bruising heartbreak. Now newly restored in 4K, the film has not mellowed.
